Svarix.ai is operated by Pathania Svarix Private Limited, a company registered in India. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use the Svarix.ai platform, including the Intelligence OS product.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

  • Name, email address, and profile picture (via Google OAuth or email signup)
  • Authentication tokens and session data

Usage Data

  • Discussion topics, context, and constraints you submit
  • AI-generated analyst responses, synthesis, and reports
  • Credit purchase and usage history
  • Feature usage patterns and session duration

Technical Data

  • IP address, browser type, device information
  • Pages visited, referral source
  • Cookies and local storage for session management

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Service delivery: Processing your discussions through AI models, generating reports, managing credits.
  • Authentication: Verifying your identity and managing account access.
  • Improvement: Understanding usage patterns to improve the Platform's quality and reliability.
  • Communication: Sending service-related notifications (account, billing, feature updates).
  • Security: Detecting and preventing fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
  • Legal compliance: Meeting regulatory obligations under Indian law.

4. AI Model Processing

When you create a discussion, your input is sent to third-party AI model providers for analysis:

  • Anthropic (Claude) — US-based
  • OpenAI (GPT-4o) — US-based
  • Groq (Llama 3.3) — US-based
  • Google (Gemini) — US-based

Each provider has its own data handling policies. We do not control how these providers process data beyond the scope of their API terms. We do not send your personal information (name, email) to these providers — only discussion content.

5. Data Storage and Security

  • Account data and discussions are stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted on AWS infrastructure.
  • All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest.
  • Authentication is managed via Supabase Auth with secure, httpOnly session cookies.
  • Service role keys are never exposed to the client.
  • We implement role-based access control for internal operations.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in these circumstances:

  • AI providers: Discussion content is sent to model providers for processing (see Section 4).
  • Payment processors: Payment information is handled by Razorpay (India) and/or Stripe (international). We do not store card details.
  • Analytics: Anonymized usage metrics via Vercel Analytics.
  • Legal requirements: If required by Indian law, court order, or government authority.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for:

  • Authentication session management (Supabase auth cookies)
  • Security tokens (CSRF protection)

We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. Vercel Analytics collects anonymized, cookie-free metrics.

8. Your Rights

Under applicable Indian data protection laws, you have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data.
  • Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Withdraw consent: Withdraw consent for data processing at any time.

9. Data Retention

  • Account data is retained as long as your account is active.
  • Discussion data is retained for service delivery and may be used for quality improvement.
  • Upon account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days. Anonymized usage metrics may be retained.
  • Payment records are retained as required by Indian tax and accounting regulations.

10. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the Platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
